The Cameras Component will allow direct control of the iRacing cameras from within iRacing Live Timing.
Components are imported directly from within iRacing Live Timing. In iRacing Live Timing press F4 to open the Remote Control Tab and then F2 to enter Edit Mode. Click the Import Library button and select from the list the component you want to import. The component will then be imported to your Remote Control Tab in the first available empty space (often below existing components).

Display Options
- Cameras – Simply click on the desired camera button in iRacing Live Timing to change to the corresponding camera in iRacing.
- List 1 – Your currently selected camera.
- List 2 – Your preselected camera. A preselected camera will be selected when:
- Another driver is selected.
- Jumping to an event.
- Jumping back to live.
- Exciting – Camera will focus on the battles with the closest time gaps between drivers.
- Leader – Cameras will focus on the leader.
- Crashes – Camera will focus on crashes.
- Mouse View on – Allows free movement of the camera with the mouse.
- Mouse View off – Turn off mouse camera free movement.
Troubleshooting
If iRacing is not responding to these camera controls then ensure:
- The selected driver in iRacing Live Timing is still on track, otherwise iRacing will be stuck on Scenic.
- The advanced camera tool is not open in iRacing. Press Ctrl+F12 in iRacing to toggle the tool on and off.
- The camera you select exists in iRacing. Are you using the default iRacing camera pack? If not, you may need to edit CameraGroupName in iRacing Live Timing to match the name of the camera in iRacing. In iRacing Live Timing press F4 and then F2 and select the camera button you wish to edit, click on the field Left mouse button click and edit the CameraGroupName to match the what the name of the camera in iRacing.
